Terms and Conditions of the Service-Finder Portal

Your use of the Service Finder Portal (named Portal from now on) is at your own risk. CEFRIEL, seekda, Ontoprise and the University of Sheffield (named Consortium from now on) provided the Portal on an "as is", "as available" basis. The Consortium is not liable for any damages arising out of use of it. the Consortium does not guarantee, in any way, that the access to the Portal is free of risks caused by errors, contaminations by information viruses.

The Consortium is not responsible for any loss or damage coming from the use of the contents or services offered by the Portal. Furthermore, the Consortium declines any responsibility concerning the content of other websites reached from the Portal.

The Consortium does not guarantee copyrights, patents rights, brand rights, or any other right belonging to the Consortium or third parties, towards the content appearing on this website.

The Consortium does not warrant that the Portal will meet your specific requirements, that the Portal will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that the results that may be obtained from the use of the Portal will be accurate or reliable, and that the quality of any products, services, information, and any errors in the Portal will be corrected. In no event shall the Consortium be liable for the accuracy or completeness of the Portal.

The Consortium reserves the right to update and change the terms of service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current services, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the terms of the Portal.

The Portal content is protected by copyrights owned by the Consortium and third parties.

The user agrees to use the Portal and the services it provides in a lawful and correct manner and in particular, just to give some examples, he/she agrees to avoid:

• Any inappropriate use of the Portal against the law, against the present use conditions and all the other indications published on this website, against morality;
• Any action able to damage the Consortium's or third parties rights and interests, including Intellectual and industrial property rights, or to damage, obstacle in any way the normal use of the Portal, the information tools and documents, files and any other kind of contents stored;
• Reproduce, copy, transform, distribute, spread in any manner to other websites or to the publis any material and/or information inside the Portal and not belonging to the User, unless such action has been expressly allowed by the Consortium;
• to modify, adapt or hack the Portal or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Portal;
• to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Portal, use of the Portal, or access to the Portal;
• uploading "junk mail", "spam", pyramids, or any other kind of unauthorized solicitations or requests;
• uploading, publishing, sending or transmitting in any other form or spreading illicit, abusive, obscene, vulgar, racist or damaging someone's privacy;
• molesting or prosecuting third parties; collecting or maintaining personal data of others; pretend to be someone else or provide damage, in any manner, to an underage.

Proving any contribution to the Portal (ratings, comments, tags, wiki entries, suggestions or any other information) is an act of publishing and that information will be displayed to anyone accessing Portal.

If contents inserted on the portal using the services and the functionalities are proven illicit or offensive the Consortium has the right to immediately remove such contents, permanently withdrawing the authorization to access the Portal to the person responsible of such actions.
